GRANOLA magazine is a university project, designed and published by Emilia Woods an undergraduate student in Fashion Art Direction at MMU.
''GRANOLA magazine explores material nostalgia and rituals from childhood. The contrasting shoots focusing on the different aspects of what brings me this. For example, different fabrics and materials like the clashing florals of my Grandma's bungalow, as well as gingham and its connotations to the school playground. I wanted to investigate the contrast of how we dress now as adults. Encouraging the reader to return to this unafraid state of mind, to be creative with no boundaries or control, and dress as we did as children, with freedom of expression and playfulness.''
